Interacting with people at the time and place that have the biggest impact is what makes LCRA's Nobody's Waterproof a unique water safety campaign. Watch videos from Lake Travis outreach events and learn more about water safety.

From January-May, about 50 percent less water has flowed into the Highland Lakes than January-May 2009. Water flowing into the lakes October 2010-May 2011 is the lowest for that eight-month period since the record began in 1942.

Meet Chris Hernandez and Carroll Cowan, two members of LCRA's Buoy Maintenance Team. Watch the video, learn why their jobs rise in importance as lake levels go down, and see how they represent LCRA's Public Service at Work.

Watch an aerial video of Lake Travis taken on June 17. It shows the effects this year's severe drought is having on the Highland Lakes. Lakes Travis and Buchanan, the region's water supply lakes, were about 65 percent full when this video was taken.
