Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Welcome to the November Newsletter from AEC. The AEC Congress behind us was the 50th annual congress in the history of the AEC. Never before, have we had so many participants as this year. This may be attributed to the successful work of the Association, but it certainly also demonstrates our members' longing and desire to finally meet in person as compensation for seemingly endless online meetings.

For the AEC ExCom, Council and Office, however, it is also a confirmation and an incentive to continue on the path we have chosen in terms of making use of the strengths and weaknesses of off- and online meetings.
