Communications Support Now a Service Request Ticket in ChangeGearAll IT Communications and Change Management support requests should now be submitted as Service Request (SR) tickets in ChangeGear. PC Supply ShortageIf you have any extra laptops or desktops computers that you or your team are no longer using, please contact IT Field Operations, so we can repurpose this equipment to serve our customers. Due to an increased demand for PCs, laptops, monitors, smartphones, etc. there is a global shortage for anything with a chip, like computers and phones. At HM, this impacts anyone needing a new PC (e.g., new hires, existing staff needing an upgrade, someone who may need a laptop to replace their desktop). As a result, lead time from the manufacturer for new PCs is greater than six months. ChangeGear UpdateAfter the ChangeGear 8.0 upgrade, we received a lot of feedback about the inability to save views in Workspace. This is currently not a feature in CG8, and we have escalated it with the vendor. Until the ability to save views is available, you can use this workaround. You can create custom views that provide one location to see all relevant work items and/or tickets from multiple modules, without toggling between the modules. You can add Module View widgets to your Workspace or Dashboard to view tickets from any module. This allows you to view tickets from all four modules – Change, Incident, Service Request and Incident Tasks – in one place. To add new widgets:
When you’ve added the new Module View to your Workspace or Dashboard, click Configuration Settings (top right corner). This brings up Choose View to display.
