We're hosting a members-only family sleepover on Friday, 4 April – bring the kids and enjoy a treasure hunt, arts and crafts, and a movie on our big screen before snuggling in under the watchful eyes of the ragged-tooth sharks.

When the sunlight starts to trickle through the water, rise and shine for a yummy breakfast at Shoreline Café.

It’s Water Week, and to help promote this good cause, we’re giving away some fabulous, environmentally friendly prizes!

The latest on the Aquarium's expansion

The latest on the Aquarium's expansion

In January, the Two Oceans Aquarium broke ground on a new large-scale exhibit.

Check out the latest photos from the construction site here.

During construction, the Aquarium will continue to operate as normal. We will be open from 9.30am to 6pm, seven days a week. Pedestrian access to the Aquarium remains unhindered.

Last week, an intrepid group of 16 waddlers set out on a six-day journey to walk between the two major penguin colonies found on the Western Cape coast, from Gansbaai to Simon's Town.

Their mission? To raise awareness of the plight of the endangered African penguin – and to collect some hoots along the way! Read more.

Mass stranding of turtles

Mass stranding of turtles

Over 800 endangered olive ridley sea turtles recently washed ashore in Andhra Pradesh, India.

This was no freak accident – the turtles fell victim to a large number of trawl boats that came to the area from the nearby city of Chennai, to fish for shrimp. This is why it is critical that we as consumers know where our seafood comes from and how it was caught. And if you don’t know, ask. Read more.
