During the course of the 2018 Kidscreen Summit, the Shaw Rocket Fund is proudly showcasing Canadian production companies and their programs. These companies have worked diligently to produce content for our kids, and we're here to spread the news!
Apartment 11 ProductionsCurrently in production on a new live-action scripted series in partnership with Cirque du Soleil, Discovery Kids, and TVOKids Apartment 11 has entered
into a development deal with TVOKids for animated series Interstellar Ella, an international co-production Raven’s Quest, featuring first-person stories told by Indigenous children from across the country, premiered on TVOKids in January Production has recently been completed on Finding Stuff Out season 5 - Awards:

GAPC Entertainment- 40 episodes of Are You Ready?, GAPC’s newest pre-school series produced for TVOkids, are in post-production
- Production financing for ScienceXplosion (52 webisodes plus 1/2 hour TV special, Vous Codez!), GAPC's STEM digital and TV series for TFO, is nearly complete. Production will begin in spring/summer 2018
- Math Storytime (English and French) is a collection of 16 children’s stories that help parents explore math concepts with their primary school age children (Google Play and the App Store)
- Choose a Path that Includes Math (English and French) is an online toolkit that provides user-friendly and inspiring information for teens and parents who are making choices about high school math courses
- MathXplosion is distributed internationally (Distribution 360) with recent sales to Da Vinci (Eastern Europe, Greece, Poland, the Middle East and Africa)

Animated Script
Cupcake & Dino: General Services (52x11) is a new animated comedy series for 6-11 year olds, debuting as a Netflix Original and airing on Teletoon (Canada) and Disney Channel (Latin America) this summer 117 new episodes of Peppa Pig went into production, taking the total to 381. New episodes will launch globally from spring 2019 to coincide with the brand’s 15th
anniversary celebrations in the UK Peppa Pig themed attractions will launch beginning in 2018 thanks to a global partnership with Merlin Entertainments. Consumer products programs are launching in Japan, following the 2017 launch in India - PJ Masks is currently in production on Season 3

Catapult PicturesCurrently in post-production on a pilot for CBC Kids Digital, and in talks with a production company in Shanghai - Awards:

Bardel Entertainment- 44 Cats (52 x 11), a CGI preschool property, launched as the first Bardel/Rainbow collaboration (Rainbow acquired Bardel in
2015). It spans three studios and two continents while sharing all stages of production
- Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty (2D with photo-real elements, for kids 6 to 11) is being animated by Bardel. Saban Brands is launching the new IP into the TV and CP market with Funrise appointment
- Awards:
Sonar Entertainment - Counterfeit Cat series 1 sold to Hulu (US) and has been sold to every country worldwide for broadcast. The Counterfeit Cat Game
launched in spring 2017 and became the #2 most played game on the Corus Kids site
- Go Away Unicorn! received a series greenlight by Corus and Disney Channel, and has been sold to Disney Worldwide
- There are new partnerships for Bear & Salmon (Like A Photon) and pickup of new development with Dragons' showrunners on the new book derived project Watchdog
