Remember When...

... way back in '09 when Cedar Rapids alumni rode their buggys to a nearby saloon and raised a glass to their alma mater for the very first Bee Happy Hour. Alums gathered in fewer than 10 spots that year. On June 16, from 5-7 p.m. CDT, alums will gather in 30 locations across the country. We will toast SAU at approximately 6. Find your place to join them. 

Class Notes

Steve Smithers '79

Smithers, a former Bees basketball player and assistant coach, will become the athletics director at Marist High School in Chicago. He has been athletics director at Alleman High School in Rock Island, Ill., the past 11 years and was head basketball coach at Alleman and Assumption High School in Davenport. Read about Steve.
