Employees of churches and integral agencies of churches are divided into two classifications by law. The two classifications are dual-status minister and lay employees. It is very important to determine the right status of each employee when they are employed. To learn more about lay employees and dual-status ministers, click here.

 

You can deduct the expenses for one trip (for you and your family) to the new home and for moving your furniture and household goods if you satisfy the distance and period-of-employment requirements.
