Way back in 2008 Molly had the simple vision of creating a community gathering place that served up fresh and delicious ice cream. There would be a handful of scoopers and, with any luck and a lot of hard work, a small but loyal fan base. We dreamed of creating daring new flavors and living the good life in our little Wallingford shop.
What we didn't know at the time - although we had a hunch - was that Seattle's appetite for ice cream would prove to be nearly insatiable! With Wallingford's success came an opportunity to expand, and so to Capitol Hill we merrily went, opening our second shop. We were greeted with the same long lines and happy people as in Wallingford, so onward and upward to Madrona, and then Queen Anne! And hey, why not just throw a cookbook into the mix!?
We'd like to give a big thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years. Thank you to those who've been with us from the first scoops, and thank you to those who are just now discovering our ice creams. Time has that funny, slippery way of passing by all too quickly. Looking back, five years can feel like a long time ago but it sure did rush by in a flash. Stay tuned for the next five years...we might just have a few more tricks up our sleeve!
