Click here July 2023 HighlightsThe Cut Carbon Note, our newest product, is a secured, investment-grade rated, fixed-income product that finances sustainability upgrades for buildings, with the objective of reducing carbon emissions. We updated the pricing on our initial series of Cut Carbon Notes to meet investors' requirements given the current rate environment and the first offering is now available through September 20th. We're passionate about engaging as many people as possible to help combat one of the U.S.'s largest sources of carbon emissions and transform the way we build. VP of Investment Partnerships Justin Conway spoke to Environmental Finance about Cut Carbon. Check out the article here. We’ve partnered with the Community Preservation Corporation and Self-Help Credit Union to form Climate United, a consortium created to pursue the $14 billion National Clean Investment Fund (NCIF) Mandate. We recently issued statements on the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)'s release of the Notices of Funding Opportunities for the Fund. VP of Strategy Beth Bafford also spoke with ImpactAlpha about the NCIF's potential and Climate United's strategy. Since 2017, we've worked with Advance Global Capital (AGC) to support small businesses in underserved communities around the world. AGC’s investments deliver tailored financing to local partners, who in turn provide flexible working capital to small and medium enterprises (SMEs), so they can scale and positively impact their local economies. AGC’s work spans across 66 countries and almost 40% of the SMEs their partners finance are women-led. Learn more about the companies that AGC supports through our recent borrower spotlight. The New York Forward Loan Fund 2 was announced by New York Governor Kathy Hochul last week. We’re excited to manage the fund and as Director of Strategy Joe Meginnes said, "This program has a fantastic track record – helping to keep businesses open and people employed during the pandemic – and now will enable eligible small businesses and nonprofits to not only sustain operations, but to grow and thrive by accessing capital."
