Meet the Couples to be Married by Clerk Bock in Valentine's Day Ceremony
Continuing her Valentine’s Day tradition, Clerk & Comptroller Sharon R. Bock, Esq., is partnering with the National Croquet Center and other local businesses to give 40 couples a holiday wedding to remember. Meet some of the couples who will be getting married or renewing their vows at this year's Valentine's Day Group Wedding Ceremony.
Irwin & Judith are celebrating their 77th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows on Valentine's Day. The couple met on a beach in Long Island, New York in the summer of 1939. Irwin is 98 and Judith is 96.
Dennis & Johanna met 30 years ago. After dating for 2 years, they went their separate ways. However, they stayed in contact and rekindled their relationship on Valentine’s Day 2018. Dennis retired from the military last year and moved to Florida to be with Johanna.
Terrance & Carrie met in 2012, but eventually lost contact over the years. In 2018, their paths crossed again, and they have been together ever since. Terrance proposed on Jan. 11, while the couple was attending a family game night.

Clerk Celebrates 30 Years of Excellence in Financial Reporting
North America’s top association for government finance professionals has recognized the Clerk & Comptroller as a national leader in financial reporting and public transparency for the 30th consecutive year.
The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) awarded its prestigious “Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting” to the Clerk & Comptroller for the office’s Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, or CAFR, for Fiscal Year 2018. The award is the association’s highest form of recognition for government accounting and financial reporting. Learn more.
