Hello Friends!
Spring is here and we are all inspired! Over the winter, the staff has completed some great haircutting classes and traveled to experience the Chicago hair show, the largest hair show in the Midwest. During my sabbatical, my creative mojo came back, reminding me how much being a hairstylist and rock and roll go hand in hand—at least for me, anyway! The emergence of Michigan’s own Greta Van Fleet has taken me back to my teens and my love for Led Zeppelin. Likewise, the Bohemian Rhapsody film, which covers the incredible story of Freddie Mercury and Queen, made me remember my early days of doing hair and all of the wonderfully talented hair stylists who shared their creativity with us. Let us be inspired by the free spirit of the 70s, and honor the talented artists of the 80s (they did bring us the mullet, after all, ha ha). May we remember what they taught us, those rockers and stylists—the fact that life is impermanent and we must love deeply and fully. Love yourself and express yourself in a way that feels authentic to you; give yourself permission to play; have fun and enjoy this life! Starting June 1st Automatic Text Confirmations
Vagaro, our online scheduling software system, has the ability to send automatic text and e-mail confirmations, helping us to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of your confirmations. No more accidental human errors with typing the wrong day or time!
You will now be getting emails or text messages from Vagaro 48 hours prior to your appointment.
If you need to reschedule your appointments or contact us for any reason, please text or call the salon phone number.
If you forget and reply to the text, the automatic system will send you a text to contact us directly.
If you choose to receive your automatic confirmation via email you may respond directly to the email.
We will continue to provide phone call confirmations for those of you who prefer them. If you would like to change the way we currently confirm your appointments, call, text, or e-mail, please let us know. We would be happy to accommodate whatever works best for you.
A friendly reminder of our 24 -hour cancellation policy: If we do not receive a notice within 24 hours and we are unable to fill the cancellation, you may be charged 50 percent of your service. We appreciate you honoring this policy as it allows us to service other guests and continue to thrive as a small business.
