A few vintages ago, winemaker Johnny Quarisa got his hands on some amazing grapes and made two wines (a Cabernet and a Shiraz) for his wife Jo, naming the wines “Mrs. Q”. Tasting Notes: The 2016 Mrs. Q Cabernet Sauvignon does its homeland of Australia proud in displaying the richness and power Coonawarra Cab can have. Intense cassis and cherry layer over oak spices drawn from 16 months in a mix of French and American oak barrels. Big, bold and spicy, this wine leaves an impression with every drop.
