GroSafe: Building societal resilience against grooming

It's estimated that around 300 million children are exposed to some form of online grooming every year.

The GroSafe project at Technological University Dublin is working to change that. GroSafe equips young people with the knowledge and confidence to recognise the signs of grooming early and to report it.

Led by Dr Christina Thorpe and Dr Matt Bowden, with Societal Impact Champion Fiona Jennings, ISPCC, GroSafe won the
National Challenge Fund OurTech Challenge.
