School Holiday Fun and kids can win!

There is so much happening in your local library this April.

Do your kids have their own library membership card? Visit any library and join your kids up as members for FREE today. Every new child member will go into the draw to win a $100 Toymate Voucher (one prize drawn each month until May) and any child who visits any of our libraries three times between now and May goes into the major prize draw to win a $300 Toymate Voucher. School Holidays are almost here. Event bookings open Monday 27 March so put this date in your diary. There is so much on offer and it's all FREE!

A new episode of our podcast "Book Matters" has just dropped, go to your podcast provider and download it today. 

If you are in a reading rut check out our "Top Titles" when you are in your local library next, they are our most popular books or if you are after a specific book then we will do out best to get it for you, just complete this form.

We have plenty of free COVID-19 RAT kits for Casey residents available at all of our libraries, so pick up a kit at your favourite library if you are running low.

School Holiday Program

The April school holidays are fast approaching and our April program is packed with fun events to keep you and the kids entertained.

The program runs from Tuesday 11 April through to Sunday 23 April and it's going to be a blast!

From the Zoo Party with Carp Productions to Eco Art, special themed storytimes, crafts, workshops, STEAM sessions, magic shows and much more, there's something for everybody.

This is a very popular program so make sure you book in early to avoid disappointment.

Bookings open on Monday 27 March at 9am.

We have a treat for book lovers this May, as we welcome authors Fiona Lowe and Ilsa Evans to Bunjil Place Library.

Fiona Lowe writes books that are set in small country towns. They feature real people facing difficult choices and explore how family ties and relationships impact on their decisions.

Ilsa Evans has published fourteen books across a range of genres, from light fiction and short stories to memoir, murder mystery and YA fantasy.

Come along and enjoy afternoon tea with the fabulous Fiona and Ilsa as they discuss their latest novels “The Money Club” and “Family Baggage”. Tickets are $10.

Energy And Water Efficiency Home Audit Kits

Energy and Water Efficiency Home Audit Kits are available for borrowing from all of our libraries at Bunjil Place, Cranbourne, Endeavour Hills, Hampton Park and Doveton.

The kits, designed by City of Casey to support and empower the community, will help you identify where you can improve the efficiency of your home, saving you money and reducing carbon emissions.

There are nine kits available for borrowing, with each kit containing an easy-to-read instruction booklet, a power-mate lite, an energy saving thermometer, a water flow measuring cup and a thermal imaging camera.

To check the availability of the kits, search the catalogue or drop into your local library and speak to one of our friendly staff.
