Kia ora friend,

We hope everyone is out there enjoying the walks! Don't worry if you didn't, you can complete these walks at any time - just remember to submit or share a photo of yourself/your doggo on the walk!

You can always find the walks on our website.

Read on for our week three walks!

On the Wānaka and Upper Clutha side we have the Mount Iron Track.  It's one of the most popular Wānaka tracks and offers incredible 360-degree views from the summit. You'll climb 250m and get a bit of a sweat on!

On the Queenstown side we have Bob's Cove. It’s a moderately challenging route that takes you along the shore of Lake Wakatipu. This walk takes you through the forest with mature stands of red beech. A small car park is available at the trailhead. This is an out and back track, so just turn back when you've had enough!

Check out our maps for the finer details.

Let us know when you complete each walk by either uploading a photo of yourself on the walk with the hastag: #qldcwinterwander (to social media) or reply to this email address with photo proof. If you upload to social media, make sure the post is public so we can see it!

  • You get one entry per walk, so if you do all five available walks then you'll get five entries into the prize draw
  • The winners will be randomly chosen on 4 September and contacted via social media or email depending on the entry method!

The next walk will be released on Monday 19 August, so make sure you hit our week 3 trails before then. See you out there!
