Dear Residents,

Thank you so much to everyone who joined as at the launch of Homebush Markets! It was wonderful to see the streets alive into the evening. The next night market will be on Saturday 6 June. Be sure to follow Council's social media for the latest updates.

If you were at the night markets, you may have noticed our newly restyled waste truck! As part of Council’s commitment to clean, attractive and well-maintained neighbourhoods, Council’s waste trucks have received a glow-up featuring artworks inspired by our native flora and fauna. Also included are tips to help residents recycle right and protect our natural environment. Keep an eye out, they’ll be coming down your street soon!

Finally, the road resurfacing project on Chalmers Road, between Newton Road and Victoria Street, has just been completed. These works will deliver a smoother, safer and durable road surface for all users, in particularly Chalmers Road Public School. Make sure you check out the Current Projects page on our website for updates on all Council projects.

If you need to contact me or have any questions, please do so by emailing me cr.bcai@strathfield.nsw.gov.au or ring our office on 9748 9999.

Cr Benjamin Cai, Mayor of Strathfield
