This year, over 400 kids enjoyed holidays full of fun, friends and freedom at Ardvullin, our beautiful centre in the Scottish Highlands. Young people who have experienced poverty, neglect, deprivation and the heavy responsibility of caring for others all join us on holidays full of excitement and adventure. This gives them a vital break from stressful and often chaotic everyday environments. For many, this will be their first experience of a holiday – for some, the first time they have ever left their local area.

Who are you helping?
Thousands of children in Scotland live with the daily damage caused by poverty, crime, neglect, addiction and physical and mental abuse. Many are the primary carers for family members and miss out on playing and making friends. They experience stigma, isolation and poor health.
We work with young carers’ organisations, women’s aid groups, health charities, schools, and community groups to make sure we can help those children and young people most in need.
