Mandatory Reporting of Child Sexual Abuse:
Working Together in Child Protection
2026 Event
Intention: To provide essential knowledge and skills in reporting and responding to all forms of child abuse and neglect, including mandatory reporting of child sexual abuse.
Target audience: Government and non-government staff (18+) who work with children or families.
Learning Outcomes - increase knowledge of:
- mandatory reporting of child sexual abuse
- relevant legislation and reporting pathways
- best practice response to children who display sexual behaviours
- managing disclosures of abuse
- WA Police responses
- Perth Children’s Hospital responses
