Education & Empowerment Discussion Series Medicaid Waivers Part Two Join our Blonder Family Department for Special Needs for a free virtual series that provides support, information, and resources on how to live an inclusive life for individuals with a disability, as well as their families, caregivers, supporters, and allies. On Mon, May 23, Anna Maki from the Bobby Dodd Institute will lead part two of our Medicaid Waiver session. The Education & Empowerment series will resume in September. Debra “Debbie” Sonenshine SOAR Sports SOAR Kickball June 7-August 9 Join the SOAR Summer Kickball League! We are excited to be offering another season of this crowd favorite. We will learn and review the rules of the game and then play some ball. Come kick it with us! SOAR Tennis Through May 10 Led by professional coaches and experienced volunteers, SOAR Tennis emphasizes team play, sportsmanship, and coordination skills and is a great way to get some exercise! All the precautions we’re taking are within our health and safety protocols to ensure all our participants enjoy a safe environment at the MJCCA. We must enforce these protocols to sustain programming that is enriching and safe for our community. We appreciate your support and flexibility and look forward to navigating this new normal with all of you.
