Our HSR community in South Australia continues to gain momentum and SafeWork SA is here to support you every step of the way. Following the success of the inaugural 2025 HSR Forum, we will again be hosting the event in 2026 and presenting the HSR of the Year Award. We’ve also recently shared new asbestos guidance for HSRs, developed a webpage highlighting the benefits of HSRs for PCBUs, and launched a WHS ecosystem webpage that showcases collaboration across SafeWork SA, unions, employer organisations, industry groups, Entry Permit Holders, HSRs, ReturnToWorkSA and WHS professionals. On a personal note, I have been in the HSR Advisor role at SafeWork SA for a little over six months now and it’s been a really rewarding experience so far. It’s been great to meet so many of you at training days and during site visits. Seeing your passion and commitment to improving safety in your workplaces is genuinely inspiring and reinforces just how important your role is. Please remember the HSR inbox is a direct line to me, so feel free to reach out if you have questions, need guidance, or just want to talk through an issue. You can also visit our HSR Hub, the central point for your role. Good luck for the year ahead. Dakshu Jasti
