In what has been a week of extreme weather, I would like to thank Strathfield SES, our local emergency services and Council staff for their efforts to keep our residents safe in what was a difficult week for many local residents who were impacted by damage to their property.
Unfortunately, due to the weather many of Council's facilities were not available, and we also experienced an excessive number of potholes across our local road network. The clean up has started but I urge residents if you do spot a pothole, report it to Council so we can get it repaired as early as possible.

Homelessness Food Appeal
Do you have non-perishable food to share? Strathfield Council is supporting National Homelessness Week this winter to help those who are sleeping rough or experiencing homelessness in our community. Donation collection sites will be available from Friday 15 July to Monday 8 August.
Hudson Park Driving Range
Due to wet weather, the opening of the Hudson Park Driving Range will now take place on Friday 22 July. The newly renovated features include netting, synthetic turf and coloured bunkers. Bring along your golf clubs and have a shot at an ace!
Spring Festival Stallholder Applications Now Open!
Do you have something to impress at the Strathfield Spring Festival 2022? Stallholder applications are now open! Don't forget to attach your menus and sample photos together with your application.
Crime Prevention Parcel Theft
Prevent parcel theft by keeping your mail or packages safe once they are delivered to your home. You can always report any suspicious or unusual activity to the Police Assistance Line on 131 444.

Minding Our Business: Strathfield's Industrial Heritage Exhibition Talk
Join us on Sunday 31 July to learn more about Strathfield's rich history in manufacturing, including the much loved Arnotts Biscuits. Refreshments will be served from 12.30pm for a 1pm start. Registrations are essential!
