Vale Cliff Marsh
It is with great sadness that we hear of the passing of Swansea Belmont SLSC, Surf Life Saving NSW and Surf Life Saving Australia Life Member, Cliff Marsh OAM, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday 28 September 2021.

Working With Children Check Expiry Dates
The NSW Office of Children’s Guardian has been granted authority to extend WWCC clearances due to expire between 27 Sep '21 and 26 Jan '22 for a three months. SLSNSW will be working with SLSA and the IT team to update the WWCC expiry dates in member records.
NSW Office of Sport Surf Club Facility Program
Clubs/branches that wish to apply for the Surf Club Facility Program are encouraged to commence gathering the required attachments ASAP.

Grants & Fundraising
Grant funding is an ideal way to obtain equipment, infrastructure or program funding for your club. In support of SLSCs in NSW, SLSNSW provides a professional grant service at no fee to NSW SLSCs through the Surf Life Saving Foundation’s Grant Seeking Unit (GSU). The GSU is a national grant research and writing support unit for SLS entities across Australia.

Deliver a brand new beach safety show to young children between the ages of 3 and 6. We urge anyone interested to apply but early childhood education experience and knowledge will be highly regarded. Training provided.
Multicultural Beach Safety Presenter
Deliver beach safety and rock fishing safety talks to community groups and diverse audiences in English and your own language both virtually and face to face. We urge anyone interested to apply but those with a strong knowledge and interest in their own culture will be highly regarded. Training provided.
Australian Lifeguard Service NSW - Recruitment Now Open!
With over 330 positions available across 90 locations, the ALS is encouraging surf lifesavers to apply as a means of offering local employment, building stronger relationships with clubs and providing opportunities for club members to develop leadership and lifesaving skills as:
