FET profiling is here! School officials have a lot to look forward to when they return to the classroom after the school holidays, with the new DDD FET Promotion Profiling Report now available on the dashboard. Dr Malobola describes the new report as being “spot on” with identifying the learners and subjects for targeted interventions that will result in improved performance.   Ms Nkosi adds that the new FET report provides a “whole school” analysis of FET grades, and a holistic view of performance, strengths and weaknesses.   Besides assisting with focused interventions, adds Ms Gabashane, FET profiling data equips educators to help learners reach their full potential.

  Term-end data is the critical starting point for Term 3 intervention planning and support, and the sooner you can access those all-important insights, the sooner your learners will benefit. Term-end data submissions to DDD are well underway, with the following provinces leading the way:  
             
 
     
LIMPOPO   EASTERN CAPE
   GAUTENG   MPUMALANGA
With 96% of term-end data already submitted, Limpopo has been quick off the mark!   With 75% of its schools having submitted, Eastern Cape is following in quick pursuit.   At 43%, Gauteng’s term-end submissions are looking good, speeding up to the halfway point.
   Mpumalanga has progressed steadily, with 34% of term-end submissions completed.

It’s been a bumper month in terms of features and enhancements to the DDD Dashboard, with multiple updates that make selected tables and graphs more informative, and more usable. A much-welcomed addition is the new FET Promotion Profiling Report, which is a game changer for officials looking to give their senior learners an extra boost before the end of the year.

The DDD Dashboard now offers a FET Promotion Profiling Report that enables officials to easily identify which subject improvements will make the most difference to learners' term or grade pass rates. Detailed training on this new feature is coming up, so keep an eye on your inbox, the DDD website and the Learning Hub for details.   Over the past two weeks curriculum officials have shared positive feedback on a new role-specific landing page that is designed to give curriculum officials a customised view of DDD information directly relevant to their roles. This is the first in a series of role-specific views being built, and which are scheduled to go live later this year.   Some exciting enhancements go live in the next few weeks, including updates to the tables on the Details page; an extra table to show Task Marks Captured plus the ability to export task marks captured for all entities; and the inclusion of an Attrition Report. Log in regularly so that you don’t miss out.
