The NQA IT System and Public Portal are being migrated to a cloud platform with significant changes to the system.
The National Quality Agenda IT System will be unavailable from 1pm AWST Thursday 28 March 2024 until Monday 1 April 2024 inclusive.
What does this mean to you as a provider?
- Users will be unable to access the National Quality Agenda IT System over the deployment long weekend.
- Any saved or incomplete forms not submitted will not be available in the new system. All applications and notifications currently in progress must be submitted prior to 1pm AWST on Thursday 28 March 2024.
- If you need to notify the Regulatory Authority during this outage, please directly email ecru@communities.wa.gov.au.
- Notifications (requiring 24 hours legal timeframe) are the only type of notifications that can be emailed to the Regulatory Authority.
- The cut-off date to directly email any notifications to the
Regulatory Authority is 4pm AWST on Monday 8 April 2024.
- On Tuesday 2 April 2024 you will need to re-register your existing provider approval on the cloud based Public Portal.
- Providers need to invite/add users via the ‘manage user’ function.
- Users will receive an email invitation to recreate their accounts.
What you need to do to gain access to the NQA IT System Public Portal from 2 April 2024
From 2 April 2024 all education and care providers will
need to sign up for an account to access the Public Portal, even if you have previously used the legacy system. Each user account will also need to be recreated. This should be a quick process and ACECQA will publish detailed instructions on how to register. How to link your provider accounts and how to add new users can also be found here.
What you need to do
- Check your email inbox (including your spam/junk mail) to ensure you receive communications regarding this upgrade.
- Complete any applications and notifications currently in progress and submit prior via the public portal by 1pm AWST on Thursday 28 March 2024.
- Review current users and ensure you keep a list of users to invite to the new system.
- On Tuesday 2 April 2024 you will need to re-register your existing provider approval on the cloud based Public Portal.
- Each user account will need to be recreated.
- User access management will need to be manually re-established for all users.
