Mandatory Reporting of Child Sexual Abuse

 

There is now one month to go before early childhood workers commence as mandatory reporters of child sexual abuse on 1 November 2024. All educators are encouraged to complete mandatory reporter training prior to the commencement date, with the following training opportunities available.

Online course

Access an online course that is available for all mandatory reporters of child sexual abuse at the Department of Communities Mandatory Reporting webpage.

Face-to-face or webinar training for early childhood workers

This training is delivered by the Department of Communities Mandatory Reporting Service and the Education and Care Regulatory Unit and will broadly cover the same content as the online training.  You can register for one of the six remaining sessions at Eventbrite.
