Residents turned out in force, filling 5 huge storage containers with quality pre-loved items, saving them from landfill and supporting a circular economy. A special shout-out to Marie Bashir Public School who collected 41 boxes of clothing, and Active Kids Homebush Child Care who donated 9 boxes, taking out the school challenge competitions. Missed out? You can still rewind your fast fashion by donating quality items to your local op-shop or at Council's recycling stations at 2A Fraser Street, Homebush or the High Street Community Centre, Strathfield.
