Azrieli CHILD-BRIGHT Fellowship Program If you’re a postdoctoral researcher focused on supporting children with brain-based developmental disabilities (BDD), CHILD-BRIGHT and the Azrieli Foundation have a funding opportunity for you. CHILD-BRIGHT is looking for at least six postdoctoral researchers to work on implementation science research projects and helping programs mobilize knowledge to action. Applicants should have a strong interest in patient-oriented research, a passion for supporting children with BDD and their families, as well as strengths in implementation science research disseminating research knowledge. Desired submission date: October 17 SPOR Conference Registration Join the Alberta SPOR SUPPORT Unit (AbSPORU) and our SPOR partners across western Canada and the Northwest Territories, as we host the top experts in patient-oriented research and patient engagement to discuss the biggest issues and latest developments in patient-oriented research. This year's theme is "Embracing the new normal: Patient-oriented research practices and impacts". Grants Pre-Announcement: Healthy Youth catalyst grants As part of the Government of Canada’s Youth Policy, the Institute of Human Development, Child and Youth Health is launching a Healthy Youth Initiative. As part of the first phase of this initiative, Healthy Youth catalyst grants will launch in summer 2022 to support preliminary research activities. The Healthy Youth Initiative grants aim to fund research whose findings promote the health and wellness of youth, supporting them to achieve their full potential. WCHRI 2022 CRISP competition launched The WCHRI 2022 Clinical/Community Research Integration Support Program (CRISP) Grant competition is now open. This program offers competitively funded operating support for clinical and/or community research that has the potential to improve health outcomes and/or influence clinical practice at the point of care for women and/or children. WCHRI is pleased to offer funding of up to $20,000 to support research over a three-year period. The application is a two-step process: The deadline for the application access form request is August 19, 2022, at 4 p.m. Access to the application form will be provided based on submission of the application access request form.
