Social Activities
August VSP Dinner Club
Thurs, Aug 14, 6:30 - 8:00 pm
Join your friends for our monthly dinner gathering hosted at a variety of local restaurants. This month, we’re heading to one of our favorite destinations-- IHOP!

Fee: Cost of food ($30 recommended)
Monday Bowling Nights
July 28; Aug 4, 11 & 18, Sept 8 & 15, Oct 20 & 27
Mondays, 5:30 - 6:30 pm
Meet at Bowlero, 2175 Savoy Dr.
Come bowl with your friends at Bowlero every Monday night! This is a drop-in event, so choose which Monday nights you want to come! Please check online to see dates we will not meet due to a holiday. We can’t wait to bowl with you!
Fee: $15/night for Members and the Community (includes shoes and 2 games of bowling)
Note: a one-time online registration is required to attend and payment will be processed on-site at Bowlero.
2025 Annual Trip to Savannah, Georgia
August 24 - 27
Escape to the historic charm of Savannah for a relaxing and fun-filled 4-day, 3-night trip. In addition to local restaurants, we’ll enjoy a tour of the Savannah History Museum, day at Tybee Island, dolphin tour, time on North Beach, and more!
Fee: $1,925 (includes all meals, bus transportation, hotel, and activities)
September VSP Dinner Club

Join your friends for our monthly dinner gathering hosted at a variety of local restaurants. This month, we return to Politan Row, where we can choose from 10 different food vendors for our favorite meals, then sit together with friends!

Blonder Backstage
Wednesdays, Oct 22 - Dec 17
5:45 - 6:45 pm
Peek behind the curtain to see all that goes into putting on a production! We'll learn about sound, costumes, improv, singing, and more in this exciting hands-on class taught by theater professionals. This is a great program for those who have participated in or are interested in participating in Jerry's Habima Theatre.
Fee: $172 Member; $199 Community
Dance for the Stage
Wednesdays, Oct 22 - Dec 17
7:00 - 8:00 pm
Ever wanted to learn musical theater dances with your friends and have fun? This class teaches stage choreography. Whether you plan to act in Habima or just want to move your body, this class is for you! No experience necessary!
Fee: $209 Member; $229 Community
Debra “Debbie” Sonenshine SOAR Sports
SOAR Wiffleball
Tuesdays, Aug 5 - Sept 30
5:30 - 6:30 pm
This fun Wiffleball program is for athletes with all levels of experience. We will have a variety of bats and a choice to use a tee or not. Wiffleball is an exciting way to help improve cardio strength and hand-eye coordination.
Fee: $160 Member; $185 Community
SOAR Fitness
Tuesdays, Oct 21 - Nov 18
5:30 - 6:30 pm
This group fitness class combines cardio, strength, stretching, and fun! A personal trainer will help individualize the classes for everyone, so those with any level of fitness experience and ability is welcome!
Fee: $80 Member; $100 Community

Health and Safety
We ask for your assistance in creating a safe and enjoyable experience by adhering to the following guidelines:
- All participants must register online for programs prior to the deadline.
- Masks are optional.
- Parents and/or caregivers attending programs with a participant will be asked to remain in designated waiting areas, unless prior arrangements have been made with staff.
- Please continue to monitor your health. Do not attend Blonder Department programs if you have any symptoms or feel unwell.

To register for an event, click on the Register buttons under each program, or call our 678.812.4010. All programs are held at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta and are open to participants ages 18+, unless otherwise noted.

Important Program Fee and Membership Update
You may start to notice member and community pricing for several of our programs. If you are already a member of the MJCCA, you’ll have access to lower pricing for our activities. If you’re not a member, you can receive the best pricing for our Blonder programming by signing up for an MJCCA Blonder Membership for only $34 per month! If you participate in more than one program, the membership cost is covered, plus, your Blonder Membership gives you access to member-only programming and reduced program fees, fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, basketball and pickleball courts, group exercise classes, and so much more.
