Refugee Week 2026: A Million Stories

Refugee Week 2026 (14-20 June) is a chance to recognise and celebrate the stories, resilience and contributions of people from refugee backgrounds across Australia.

This year’s theme, A Million Stories, marks a significant milestone – one million humanitarian visas granted since World War II.

Each story helps shape our communities and strengthens the rich, diverse fabric of Australia, while encouraging understanding, compassion and a sense of belonging for all.
