Storytime In The Park - Colours Of The Rainbow

Head down to Wilsons Botanic Park on Thursday 17 March for a storytime that will be bursting with colour!

Drop into Bunjil Place Library on Saturday 26 March for a very special Multilingual Picture Book Workshop for Children and Families.  Create a picture book with your child, using all the languages that mean something to you and your family.

Turn Back The Clock - View Historical Images Of Your Neighbourhood

We now have a large number of photos and interviews from local residents in our new Local History page within the Library catalogue.

This collection includes:

  • Over 350 aerial photos from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, covering many areas within the current Casey and Cardinia local government boundaries.
  • Over 150 photos of locations and events around the same areas.
  • Over 130 recordings and interviews with notable residents from the 80s and 90s.

You can find all of these items in the Library catalogue. From the main page of the catalogue, click on Local History in the top menu bar and in the Local History page, enter your search as you would for a library item.

More items will be added over time, so we encourage you to check back to see what new local history treasures have been added.

 

Upcoming Changes To Library Hours

From Monday 28 February through to March 27, opening hours at our libraries will change...yes we will be open longer and Cranbourne will be open Wednesdays!

Go to the website for more information, we'll have the new hours up from 9am on Monday February 28.

 

All libraries will be closed on Monday 14 March for the Labour Day Public Holiday.

Our libraries are located at Cranbourne, Doveton, Emerald, Endeavour Hills, Hampton Park, Narre Warren and Pakenham.  Our mobile library provides a weekly service to Bunyip, Cockatoo, Garfield, Gembrook, Koo Wee Rup, Lang Lang, Maryknoll, Nar Nar Goon, Tynong and Upper Beaconsfield.
