Discover catchments, community and connection at Peaks to PointsCelebrated every two years, the Peaks to Points Festival invites the community to connect with and celebrate the creek catchments along the south side of the Brisbane River. In Logan, the focus turns to Oxley Creek and its journey through the western side of our city’s natural environment. From 25 July to 9 August, more than 60 events offer exciting, nature-based experiences and learning opportunities. EnviroGrants power local changeAcross Logan, fifty‑four recipients are bringing environmental ideas to life through the 2026 EnviroGrants. From restoring habitats and supporting wildlife care to innovative research and education initiatives, these projects are creating real change. Download the free Agents of Discovery app and visit Eagleby Wetlands to play. Kids become agents on a mission, completing fun challenges while discovering their local environment. Running 27 June to 12 July, this self-guided activity helps kids explore and learn at their own pace.
30 years of planting for the futureCelebrate 30 years of National Tree Day on Sunday 26 July. Join volunteers across Logan, get your hands in the soil and help grow a greener future. Join this nationwide effort on Sunday 5 July to help uncover the secrets of these iconic birds, including where they gather and how many we have. It’s a fun, one day event that helps support local wildlife knowledge. Bring a copy of your current rates notice to one of the collection locations and choose from a wide range of plants.
