FE Financial Reporting DeadlineREMINDER: Financial reporting deadline was July 31, 2022. MSA physician societies are required to reconcile their financials quarterly at minimum to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting. This also ensures that the FE program has accurate information on program spending. Physician societies only are requested to provide the following documents within 30 days of the end of each quarter.
*If you are using QuickBooks, the external financial system report is called the Profit and Loss Report and for Sage users it is called the Balanced Income Statement.

Physician Wellness Network Fall 2022 GatheringThe Physician Wellness Network (PWN), hosted by the BC Physician Health Program (PHP), will hold their first event via Zoom on September 21, 2022 at 3:00-5:00pm. The PWN’s Fall 2022 Gathering aims to introduce the mandate of the network to its members, provide an opportunity for network members to connect, and feature physician speakers who will share how they started physician wellness initiatives in their communities. The PWN is a network of representatives from non-profit organizations with a professional responsibility for physician wellness or who provide wellness and support services for physicians and medical learners. If you would like to be a member of the PWN, please register here. Please note that up to 2 representatives from each organization may be PWN members. Reminder to Change FEMS AdministratorsAs a reminder, MSA administrative roles in FEMS come with the ability to make changes to most settings, including the adding and changing of budgets, approval and declining of claims and expenses, as well as system wide changes for the MSA. As a result, the FE provincial office recommends that all current MSA administrators check that these privileges are up to date on a regular basis and to remove or add anyone necessary. College of Physicians and Surgeons Library ResourcesDid you know that CPSBC has a clinical library that serves all independently practicing physicians in the province? Physicians have free access to the CPSBC library, including new clinical information resources to support medical decision making, and so much more! Information on the types of resources and tools available can be accessed via this linked library resource document. PM Helpdesk Lunch and Learn LibraryThe FE provincial office, in conjunction with the PM Helpdesk Consultant, Erica Kjekstad, have created a library document of all of the past lunch and learn sessions from 2021. The 2022 library document is now live and will continue to be updated each month with current information.
