Can you believe that February is almost here?!
There is so much to be excited about at the library this month, we are thrilled to have the Library Lounge open in Cranbourne West, and we are throwing a party to celebrate - A Family Fun Day with stacks of free activities and food (and brand-new books for loan) on Saturday 17 February.
The Connected Libraries app has been revamped. The app is easy to use, you can search the catalogue, place holds and even use it as your barcode for checking out books at our self-serve kiosks.
PLUS if you download or update the CL app in February you will automatically go into the draw to win an iPad!
All libraries will be closed on Friday 26 January due to the Public Holiday, but the Digital Library is available 24/7.

Cranbourne West Library Lounge - Family Fun Day
Come and celebrate the opening of our new Library Lounge at Cranbourne West Community Hub.
There will be Face Painting, a Giant Bubble Performer, Storytimes, Giveaways, The Great Gizmo, Sausage Sizzle, Myuna Farm Animal Petting Zoo and more.
You will also be able to see our brand new Library Van and get to know more about the 24/7 Library Lockers which are located at the rear of the building.

Library Lovers Day |
Blind Date with a BookDrop into Bunjil Place, Cranbourne, Endeavour Hills or Hampton Park library and pick up a wrapped lucky dip book and have a cozy blind date with a mystery read. From Monday 12 February, the selected books are yours to keep so no need to borrow it onto your library card. We will also be giving out chocolate hearts, so be sure to pay us a visit.
Free Entry to Leisure Settings for Casey ResidentsMonash Health are providing people living in Casey, Cardinia or Greater Dandenong with the opportunity to attend a participating Alternate Leisure setting for FREE! Leisure settings include dance studios,

The Connected Libraries App can be used to renew loans, manage your account, search our collection, place holds, browse and book into events, link family member’s cards, and store a digital version of your card.

You have Delivered Joy
Thanks to all of you who got behind the Deliver Joy 2023 campaign.
Casey Residents generously donated more than $5000 worth of gifts and non-perishable food items to the ‘Deliver Joy’ Campaign in the lead up to Christmas in 2023.
$120 in cash donations combined was raised for our 5 local charity partners: The Andrews Centre, Cranbourne Information and Support Service (CISS), Transit Outreach Service, St Vincent De Paul Society – Berwick Soup Van and Manna4Life.
More than $3400 in charges were waived as part of the campaign.
All libraries are closed on Friday 26 January due to the Public Holiday.
