Community Stories

Meet a Logan Legend: Nicky Pati

Meet one of the 8 newly recognised Logan Legends making a difference to our city - barber Nicky Pati.

Nicky’s journey from humble beginnings to running the much‑loved Spasifik Cuts is a story of community, culture and connection. His barbershops are more than places for a haircut - they’re welcoming spaces where people feel seen, heard and supported.

Nicky’s legendary story is a great example of how everyday actions can have a lasting impact on others.

Neighbours Every Day Community Survey 2026

Relationships Australia has just launched their Neighbours Every Day Community Survey 2026. This survey looks at how feeling connected to your community affects loneliness, social isolation, and suicide risk in Australia.

You don’t need to have taken part in Neighbour Day events to do the survey. Every response helps build important information that supports community‑based suicide prevention across the country.
