Scotland Unwrapped: Ela Orleans + Lucy Duncombe /Feronia Wennborg 👩🚀 Saturday 16 March // 20:00 // Kings Place, London // Buy tickets here. We are delighted to return to Kings Place as part of their Scotland Unwrapped series. Glasgow and Paris based Polish composer and audio-visual artist Ela Orleans performs her mesmerising Night Voyager. Set to soaring music featuring live synthesiser, theremin, vocals and violin, Night Voyager marries visuals from the NASA archives with Edward Young’s profound meditation on life and death, addressing the possibility of cultural memory. Delving into the world of voice-based technologies in musical composition, assembling.air by Lucy Duncombe and Feronia Wennborg pairs a vocal ‘self’ with its ‘clone’ in a dialogue that evolves organically as the performance unfolds.
