Restrictions ease 21 October From 11.59pm on Thursday 21 October, public health restrictions will ease in Victoria. In regional Victoria, indoor settings – like restaurants, cafes and gyms – will increase from 10 to 30 people per venue, if everyone is fully vaccinated. Outdoor venues will increase from 20 to up to 100 people per venue, but only if everyone is fully vaccinated. If vaccination status is unknown, the venue can only have a total of 20 people. Masks will still be required both indoors and outdoors for all Victorians. To read the Premier’s media release, click here: Travel restrictions clarification It’s been a challenging winter, but at Mt Hotham we are looking forward to the huge milestone of 80% of eligible Victorians being double vaccinated. This milestone is only a few weeks away, and it will mean that travel restrictions are lifted across Victoria - great news for us all! However, currently only property owners outside of Melbourne and Mildura can come to the resort, for emergency maintenance as per the guidance on the Victorian Government website here. If you have to come up under these conditions, please contact us at property@mthotham.com.au for further information before travelling to the resort. Landslip Prevention Works on the GAR - Update There are two sites on the Great Alpine Road between Harrietville and Hotham Heights where a landslip risk has been identified, requiring mitigation and repair works. For everyone’s safety, traffic will be reduced to one lane at each site and concrete barriers will be in place to protect workers. Traffic lights and signage will direct road users through each site. There may be delays of up to 5-10 minutes at each worksite. Please plan and allow up to an additional 20 minutes for your journey. Changed traffic conditions will remain in place until works are complete. For more information:

Works are currently scheduled to commence in November 2021 and are anticipated to continue until winter 2022. This will impact access to the section of the Brabralung Trail in that area. An alternative route for this section of trail will be signposted for hikers and cyclists. Turn off your gas A friendly reminder! As it is now the end of the 2021 winter season, if you are planning to leave your property unattended until next season, please ensure your turn off your gas to minimise any costs during the off season. Update your emergency contact details Over summer, we need to know who to contact in the event of an emergency affecting your property. We recommend that your emergency contact person is familiar with your emergency plans and contactable by phone between October and May. We also need your current property access information in case of emergency by arrangement with your property's contact person. This information is also provided to the CFA.
