You can exhibit paintings, drawings, craft, graphics, mixed media, photography, sculpture, textiles, fashion design, you name it. Young Women's Program ✨Are you a young woman between the age of 15 – 25?Join in on our exciting program packed with awesome activities, interactive workshops, and meaningful discussions. It's all about empowering you, fostering growth, and creating a supportive community. Embark on an exciting journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Sign up today. This group is open to young people aged 15 – 25 that live, go to school, study, or work in Bayside. When: Fortnightly on Tuesdays, 4:30pm – 6pm (first session 16 July). When: 3pm – 5pm No booking required. Winter Solstice Party wrap 🎶Thank you to our young volunteers on the FReeZA committee, for designing, planning and running the Winter Solstice Party. The FReeZA committee plan and run six events every year. One FReeZA member, who has been volunteering for a number of years, said at the end of the night 'this is the best event we have ever done!'. An older neighbour walked past and peered inside, she said 'You should have more events like these, it is so good for teens to have a safe and fun environment to socialise'. Also, a big thank you to the Youth Services team for supporting and supervising this event. Now that Winter Solstice is over, FReeZA will be working on the Young People of Bayside Art Exhibition. Prehistoric advanced cartoon drawing workshop with Zev Landes 🐋Join Zev Landes, a talented cartoonist and designer, as he shares his expertise and secrets behind cartoon drawing. In his workshop, you will learn advanced techniques in cartooning and bring incredible prehistoric creatures from the Bayside region to life. Precious Plastic hands-on recycling workshop ♻️It's Plastic Free July, so come along to Beaumaris Library for an experiential, hands-on and practical drop-in workshop. Precious Plastic Melbourne will demonstrate plastics recycling principles and practice using their innovative small-scale reprocessing equipment. Participants will transform waste plastic materials into new, functional products, such as a pen they can take home and keep. When: Friday 12 July, 10:30am – 11:30am School holiday writing workshop with Anna CiddorParticipants will learn how to weave compelling narratives, create unique characters, and bring their imagination to life. This interactive workshop offers an opportunity to learn new skills and connect with fellow storytellers. When: Wednesday 10 July, 10:30am – 11:30am National Science Week Bayside Schools' Day 🔍Join us for our Prehistoric Bayside Schools' Day! Treat your students to an up-close encounter with a real-life palaeontologist, handle fossils, and learn all about the prehistoric history of Bayside. Limited places available. When: Tuesday 13 August, 10am – 2pm (timed sessions) What matters most to you? 📝We want to understand your priorities and where you think we should focus our resources. Your feedback will shape the strategic plans of Bayside's new Council, which will be elected in October.

Has your young person missed an important vaccination?Missed doses of HPV, Boostrix, and Meningococcal can be caught up at one of our community immunisation sessions. Young people who missed the vaccinations at school can attend one of the following local sessions:
