Join a UDIA Victoria Committee – Nominations now open

We invite all UDIA Victoria members to nominate for a position on one of our 11 committees aligned with your expertise, interests, and passion for our industry.

UDIA committee members are integral to our advocacy work, providing firsthand insights, case studies, and expertise that ensure our policy positions are credible and grounded in real-world experience. Their contributions directly inform our advocacy, submissions, research and publications.  Our committees also help shape our event and professional development program.

Committee membership requires a time investment of a minimum four hours per month – one hour to attend the meeting, and the remainder across the month.  Time requirement may vary depending on the number and complexity of advocacy issues of each committee.  Committees often have working groups or subcommittees in addition to the monthly meeting.

Committee members are also asked to attend and promote events relevant to their respective committees.

Being part of a committee is a fantastic opportunity to expand your professional network, build your profile, and connect with peers who are committed to shaping the future of Victoria’s urban development.

The breadth and diversity of our 11 committees ensure that members can engage with topics that align closely with their professional interests.

Committee appointments are for a two-year term, commencing February 2026 and concluding December 2027.
