Covid-19 update – Wednesday 17 NovemberDear students, We hope you are well and enjoying some of the freedoms that came with Auckland’s move to Covid-19 Alert Level 3, Step 2. We are writing today to let you know of some recent developments in New Zealand’s Covid-19 response. Vaccine Passes are available as of today. Anyone who is double-vaccinated against Covid-19 can now request a pass. These passes will soon be needed in a variety of public settings including events and hospitality venues. Find out how to get your Vaccine Pass here. The Government also today announced a date for the opening of the Auckland boundary. From December 15, Aucklanders who are fully vaccinated or have received a negative test result in the 72 hours prior to their travel will be able to leave the city. This will be welcome news for those of you hoping to see more of New Zealand during your summer break. While a number of school students have returned to classes today, most tertiary education remains online for the time being and we continue to provide all of our services remotely. Kind regards, OPAIC Communications. |
