Melbourne Day: How will you celebrate?

You did it last year, so the birthday bash for Melbourne's 186th at your place on 30 August should be epic.

✔ Raise a glass to Melbourne at home
✔ Hold a couch party with your family
✔ Celebrate any way you can
✔ Share on social media your iso party selfies using #MelbourneDay and @MelbourneDay

Use these free selfie posters and share your snaps around the Hills Hoist, under the doona, in your jammies or singing Happy Birthday in your trackies.

We can't again hold the traditional flag-raising at Enterprize Park but hoist your own — get your flag poster to print, then share on social media pics of your home ceremony.

Covid can't stop you celebrating what's great and Melbourne's fascinating Indigenous culture and heritage.

We're turning 186 on Monday, 30 August 2021: Be proud and celebrate Melbourne Day.

Melbourne will bounce out of lockdown and be marvellous like never before.
