FOCUSFollowing the recent postponement of the WorkCover WA Conference due to COVID-19, a new date has been confirmed – Wednesday 16 November 2022, and earlybird registrations are now open. The Conference format will remain unchanged as a contemporary one-day event at Perth’s Optus Stadium. In recognition of 2022 marking ‘40 years of WorkCover WA’, speakers and topics will complement the theme ‘reflecting on the past, focusing on the future’. This program will educate claims managers on their role, and the responsibilities they have to their clients, within the context of the workers’ compensation scheme. At WorkCover WA, we have been showing our commitment to reconciliation, through acknowledging Traditional Owners of the land, ethically sourcing Aboriginal artwork and developing policies that encourage a fair and inclusive workplace.
