CODA announces its inaugural Supervisory Committee

CODA (Centre of Decommissioning Australia) has appointed six industry leaders to form the organisation’s inaugural Supervisory Committee to bring increased strategic focus and expertise to the efforts to address the challenges and opportunities of decommissioning Australia’s aging oil and gas infrastructure.

On 30 November, Dr Francis Norman (Co-Chair) and Dr Ross Waring (Panel Member), will join the SPE Virtual Symposium: Decommissioning and Abandonment 
panel session 'Regional Collaboration Roadmap' to discuss key factors in forming the Roadmap, including collaboration models, current and future challenges, regulatory framework (country specific challenges), and co

SA-H2H cluster receives boost from SA State Govt & opens doors to new head office

The Hon. Dan van Holst Pellekaan, Minister for Energy and Mining, has announced a $100,000 contribution by the SA State Government to the South Australian Hydrogen Hubs Inc (SA-H2H) cluster, matching NERA's seed funding. The announcement was made at the official opening event of the new SA-H2H office, located within the SAGE Innovation Hub at the Tonsley Innovation District.

NERA/H2TCA joins COP26 — The Road to Glasgow: Destination Net Zero Summit

On Day 2 of the free, virtual Net Zero Technology Centre Summit, Leigh Kennedy will be joining nine other international partners on the panel session Technology Driving Transition – part 2 to present on H2TCA and flagship research focussed on the energy transition, discussing the key transition technologies we are exploring to accelerate industries towards net zero.

Research reveals how integrating solar energy in the LNG industry can cut Australia’s carbon footprint

A collaborative project between Santos, Charles Darwin University, Sun Cable, Northern Territory Government and NERA, has found that solar energy integration was potentially economically viable to offset up to 50 per cent of the plant’s emissions from electricity generation.
