• 10 896 officials attended various online training webinars since January, many earning valuable SACE points.
• 9 330 attended in-person training in provinces, during the year.

On average, almost 13 000 officials logged in to DDD each term, with numbers peaking at 14 921 in Term 3 – that’s a 29% increase compared to last year.! |

EASTERN CAPE
This province flexed its data muscles this year, with a growing number of districts meeting performance targets; a 43% growth in registered DDD users; and 30% growth in dashboard activity since the start of the year. |

FREE STATE
Always a top performer, Free State officials intensified their training and more than doubled the number of DDD users since January. The Achievement and Learner Chart Reports are their most visited part of the dashboard. |
|
 |
|
GAUTENG
A stronghold of data-minded educators, Gauteng topped 9 800 DDD users this year, with data at the core of all implementation guidance. Another highlight was its co-hosting of the D3 info-sharing webinar. |

KWAZULU NATAL
Capacity building was the name of the game, with DDD training and digital upskilling being a regular activity this year. The province also grew its number of active and repeat DDD users by more than 50% by Term 3. |

A key milestone was restarting the master trainer programme, with EMIS officers taking greater ownership of training, submissions and DDD use — a
real win,
aided by support from North West and Gauteng DDD teams. |

MPUMALANGA
The year started strong, with the highest rate of officials logging in to DDD in consecutive terms. The School Achievement
Report was by far the most accessed report, driving greater integration of data into term planning. |

This year was all about laying the groundwork for a DDD pilot in 2026, exploring how best to incorporate the province’s data on the DDD Dashboard, with the aim of rolling it out in the course of the year. Watch this space! |
