SAVE THE DATES FOR FAMILY-TEACHER CONFERENCES
Family-Teacher conferences are being held using the Meet the Teacher video platform on the following dates:
- Monday, January 29
- Tuesday, January 30
- Wednesday, January 31
- Thursday, February 1
You will receive an email with login information and instructions on how to request an appointment with your student's teachers and advisor. If you do not receive this email by the end of this Friday, please reach out to Sandy Hsia. We look forward to sharing your students' progress with you.
SPRING College TOURS for 10th and 11th GRADERS!
Dates: April 21st - 24th, 2024
$850 Deposit Due January 22nd
We are excited to offer a college tour in the San Diego area. The student group will tour with Pathways Travel for a trip that will be experiential, educational, and fun. Last year’s trip with Pathways was great!
We will tour different types of colleges and universities, from liberal arts to large public research programs. We are considering at least 3 of the following 5 schools:
California State University, San Marcos
San Diego State University
University of California, San Diego
University of San Diego
Point Loma Nazarene University
The trip is limited to 14 students (10th and 11th graders) at a total cost of $1,700. This includes lodging, ground transportation, food, college tours, and an excursion for fun. It does not include airfare. Payment will be made through the business office. More information will be available after sign-ups. The remaining balance of $850 (plus the cost of airfare) will be due by February 15th.

ACT & SAT PREPARATION
Each spring, Wasatch Academy offers 10th and 11th-grade students an opportunity for guided preparation for the ACT and SAT. Today we are highlighting the online options with Revolution Prep. Rev Prep will be offering free ACT and digital SAT practice exams in late January and early February to our students. More information about this program and how to register may be found in this letter.

FAMILIES OF DAY STUDENTS
This Friday, January 12th from 7:00 - 9:00pm is Advisory Night. Please have your student attend this event. Note that some groups may run later depending on the activity their advisor chooses.

Boys' Orange/Black Basketball
This team is a varsity basketball team in the Utah Schools Sports Association (USSA) league, which is a high school league that is made up of approximately 35 Utah high schools. Watch home games live here!

Our western riders participate in Utah High School Rodeo Association (UHSRA) as well as many local and English events.
Students may participate in the FHPH Horse Show on January 12th and 13th. Contact Todd Tree, Equestrian Director, for any questions.

You will have opportunities to participate in classes, meals, activities, and meet with the faculty and staff that are active daily in your student's experience here at Wasatch Academy. SPRING BREAK FOR
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort
March 1st - 11th, 2024
International students who find traveling home difficult during the break, there is a supervised excursion on a first-come, first-served basis. The total cost for the week is $1,500. Food, lodging, and transportation are included.

Students will hike, ride horses, go canyoneering, climbing, play mini-golf, paintball, and more.
