COOK ISLANDS TRAVEL EXPO A SUCCESS

Congratulations to all industry who attended the expo in Auckland over the weekend. You are all great ambassadors! 3500+ consumers in attendance, what a feat!!!

Last Thursday 01st July, the Minister of Tourism, Hon. Patrick Arioka, and his team hosted a site visitation programme which included visits to The Ministry of Agriculture, Te Are Manu, Cook Islands SPCA, Border Control and Vanilla Nurserys. Her Excellency Tui Dewes, NZ High Commissioner and His Excellency Christopher Watkins, Australian High Commissioner were special guests on the site visits as well as members of the (DRACC) Dog Registration and Animal Control Committee - representatives from Police, Ministry of Agriculture, Cook Islands Tourism, SPCA and Te Are Manu Vet Clinic.

 
 

The South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) is partnering with Rosie Academy to deliver a free short course on Destination Marketing Inbound Travel for participants from Small and Medium Enterprises based in the Pacific Small Island States. The virtual training session aims to create a learning journey for businesses as they progress in the marketing world and discover basic marketing fundamentals and inbound travel which will be offered in 4 units over the course of two weeks.

HIGHLAND PARADISE REOPENS

 Turou, Oro mai, Kia Orana! The team at Highland Paradise Cultural Centre, are thrilled to share their reopening plans with you. Their Tapuae Day Tour, Ancient Civilisations Archaeological Tour and Cultural Island Night 'Ka'ara' have resumed as of this month. "While we enjoy our COVID-free environment, we prioritise your health and safety and have sanitisers and masks available should guests require."

REMINDER, BEFORE YOU DEPART: CONTACT-TRACING FORM

The Cook Islands to New Zealand 
All passengers travelling to New Zealand, will need to complete the mandatory online Nau Mai Ra contact-tracing form. This is a requirement by NZ Health and Immigration, and must be completed before you check-in for your flight. Air NZ check-in staff in Rarotonga will be verifying that you've completed this.

New Zealand to the Cook Islands
All passengers arriving into the Cook Islands (residents & visitors) must complete the Online Contact Information for travel into the Cook Islands​ form. Please note that this must be completed within 24 hours prior to your flight's departure. Air NZ check-in staff in Auckland will verify that this form is completed.
