To aid in fostering epigenetics research in the greater Boston area and beyond, the Boston Epigenetics Society will be hosting their inaugural meeting
November 16th, 2021 at 10am – 11am EST
This virtual meeting is open to all who are interested in attending.
The keynote presenter will be Dr. David Sinclair, Professor in the Department of Genetics and co-Director of the Paul F. Glenn Center for Biology of Aging Research at Harvard Medical School speaking on the topic of :
“Next-gen Epigenetics to Understand Why We Age”
During Dr. Sinclair’s presentation you will learn:
What causes organisms to age
The role of epigenetics in aging
How the aging process can be reprogrammed
The Boston Epigenetic Society has been founded to:
- Promote Epigenetics and Epi-transcriptomics
- Research Foster connections between academics and industry epigenetics scientists
- Help promote new methods
- Create a support system for experimental epigenetics research
