Welcome to our weekly update report. We want to keep you informed of our work and answer your questions. We'll include lodgement queue processing times and volumes.
BMSB season
There are no changes to the current BMSB requirements at present, hence there is no industry webinar this year.
Vehicles, Machinery and Parts Import Health Standard
There are some proposed changes to the Vehicles, Machinery and Parts Import Health Standard, currently out for consultation from 10 September to 10 November. You can find all the information on our website.

Sea freight queue
For this week, sea freight lodgement turnaround is estimated at 3 days.
On Monday 15 September, morning, the total sea freight queue (includes Australian lodgements) stood at 494 lodgements and TET were processing lodgements due Monday at 4:40pm
Last week: average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 16:08 hrs (previous week 17:22hrs) and for second submissions 7:22 hrs (previous week 8:48 hrs).
Airfreight queue
For the coming week, air freight lodgement turnaround is estimated 3 hours
On Monday 15 September, morning, there was 1 airfreight lodgement in the queue and TET were processing lodgements due back at 10:24am.
Last week: average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 0:54 hrs (previous week 1:46hrs) and for second submissions 1:36hrs (previous week 2:05hrs)
Australia queue
On Monday 15 September, there were 80 Australian specific lodgements, the team is processing consignments due back Tuesday at 7:35am.
Last week:
Average turnaround of air freight lodgement for first submissions was 0:52 hrs (previous week 1:52hrs) and for second submissions 0:54hrs (previous week 1:51hrs).
Average turnaround of sea freight lodgement for first submissions was 14:28hrs (previous week 14:02hrs) and for second submissions was 8:27hrs (previous week 8:01hrs)
