The Principal, Council and St Andrew’s College community honour the life of Dr Andrew Murray Scott (Fr 1951) who passed away in July 2023, aged 95.

Andrew, who went by 'Murray', resided at St Andrew’s College from 1951 to 1953 whilst studying Medicine at The University of Sydney. During his time at College, he was part of the Fresher Swimming Team in 1951, then the main Swimming Team in 1952 and was the Golf Team Captain in his third and final year in 1953. 

Andrew went on to have a successful career in medicine after College. He remained connected to the College throughout his lifetime and was a member of the 1867 Circle. 

The Scott family is held strongly in our thoughts and our dearest sympathy is extended to all who knew Andrew.
