Namaste, Dear friend:

What is ripening in your own surroundings?

Now we’re coming to the end of the foraging season, both urban and rural. Watch for chestnuts, hawthorn berries, mushrooms (look up your local varieties to know what you’re picking), blue cedar berries, scarlet rose hips, and other wild seasonal foods. Soon roots will be ready for digging such as comfrey, Oregon grape, and dandelion, as their life energy moves and concentrates below ground. Always leave at least half the roots for future sustainability.

What’s your changing relationship to the weather, planetary movements and sounds of your consciousness?

November brought gusty winds and rainy days to our region. Further changeable conditions in December invite the flexibility and adaptability of Vata dosha into focus. Be ready to give enough time for planning and carrying out your day-to-day schedule, to remain safe, sound and grounded within a quickly changing, unpredictable environment and reduced sunlight hours. Be aware of slippery surfaces and those who carry on without heeding the subtle hints of this Vata season.

It’s an amazing auditory time of year expressing an array of outdoor vocabularies such as wind sounds, natural rhythms, musical riffs, apparent innovations and sweet echoes of seasons past. Can you hear the leaves fall, the birds’ call, directions change, ocean voices and the sound of everything changing?

On-time elimination is especially important for keeping Vata dosha in balance. Ayurveda suggests voiding as soon as the urge arises; if we miss the cue, the subdoshas of prana (inhalation), udana (exhalation), samana (digestion), apana (elimination) and vyana (circulation) all undergo a subtle adjustmen.t as expressions of their governing autonomic endocrine and fascial systems.

Timely lunch and bedtime are also needed to keep Vata dosha peaceful and alert. Vata season is the time for adaptation to change.

I do hope you’ll love the features and opportunities chosen for this newsletter to provide insights and programs perhaps unavailable elsewhere.

As a proponent of Ayurveda, when selecting health items, programs and opportunities for readers, I consider ethics, sustainability, uniqueness, responsibility and value.

TURIYA THERAPY in VANCOUVER, B.C.,
by Ayurveda doctor, Jaisri M. Lambert
June 19-29, 2020

Join me for this rare opportunity to practice Marma Therapy for helping develop inner stillness and profound body awareness, with the purpose of self-healing. Our karmic history records in the connective tissues or fascia for unfolding our destiny in this golden opportunity of the human body. Self-realization occurs by itself within the stillness of inner awareness.

You will learn protocols such as the General Session, Balancing of each of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha pathways, according to individual concerns and disturbances. This program is the time to be reminded of one’s own unchanging inner stillness, amidst this whirlwind of daily living.

Turiya Therapy helps restore order, so there is no disorder in body and mind. Neuro-plasticity occurs by itself, but now with a deep awareness of our inner unique path to unconditional love. For over thirty years I’ve made my livelihood with these tried and true techniques based in ancient marma science. Understand yourself and others like never before.

Many miracles of self-healing have been witnessed and experienced by the grace of Sri Dhanvantari, the God of Healing according to Ayurveda. (Call the ‘doer’ what you will.) Experience and be empowered to share with others the deepest of energy healing techniques.

Suggested Prerequisite: Ayurveda Studies Program of 70 hours or equivalent.
