Midnight Christmas trading dates locked in

Lowering height threshold will raise safety standards

Safety for construction workers will be improved following changes to regulations around working from heights. Changes to work health and safety regulations to reduce the height limitation of high-risk construction work from three metres to two metres has been approved and will come into effect from 1 July 2026.
